Read full review. Mine came with a receipe book and a platform to set the juicer upon and a measuring cup and overflow catcher. I enjoy using this product as it is fairly easy. You do have to watch the pulp collector and make sure it is attached correctly or it will discard pulp outside of the collector. You also have to shut it off as soon as it starts to vibrate as there is most likly too much pulp in the the filter and hood and needs to be cleaned before continuing with juicing.
I have made a few concoctions and there are more to come! I have not tried to save the pulp and freeze for muffins and such as of yet - as i have to figure out how to adjust the pulp collector to fit correctly - as of right now most of the pulp gets stuck to the hood and needs to be scraped out- and was in a hurry so i didn't make the effort to do so yet.
I bought this model even though there is a slimmer version available as it didn't have great reviews at the time i bought my model, i guess because it is too new. The oldy is a goody in this case- i didn't care for the stainless steal version - as i can store it in a pantry when not in use- so decor wasn't an issue.
You can use the juice and add it in the blender with bananas or avacodoes which can not be juiced and make smoothies! My personal favorite! I decided to buy this item because of health reasons. I can't eat raw fruits and vegetables because they "disagree" with me. I have been able to get my fruits and veggies using the juicer and so far have had no problems. I usually know within minutes of eating or drinking something if it will "disagree" with me.
The only things I don't like about this item is that the pulping area seems to clog very easily. You have to clean it out more often than you would think. It is a hassle, but it does clean up quick. The other thing is, when you juice apples and pears, the juice turns brown really quick. The juice is still tasty, although not pretty. I use a little lemon juice or lemon to help.
