The improvements will include reconstruction of the main pool to allow for a zero-depth entry to accommodate children and the handicapped. The pool also will get a tube slide and climbing wall. The "baby pool" will be replaced with a new tot splash pool that will include umbrellas, fountains and water sprayers.

A new addition to the facility will be an intermediate zero-depth pool for older children. As such, opening will be delayed today, but as soon the pool is cleared for use, we will announce re-opening here.

For the Community Pool, this means that those who are fully vaccinated as defined by the CDC are not required to wear a face covering.

All unvaccinated pool patrons and employees must continue to comply with the mandates that have been issued by the Commonwealth. The Borough has no additional rules or regulations above and beyond what the Commonwealth requires.
