Yeah man. I pronounce it G-nome. Their website actually used to explain that this was the correct pronunciation for the project name.
Wow I've just found out that my pronunciation is completely wrong. I say guh-nome but the dictionary says it should be "nome". Oh well, guh-nome sounded much more cool What does it matter what the 'correct' pronounciation is, say it how ever you feel. Mister guh-nome. It's not supposed to be the traditional English pronunciation of "gnome" because it's not a word but an acronym of the full project name.
